The Learning Disability Partnership Board has been set up by the Isle of Wight Council and has people from over 30 local groups on it. It also includes people with a learning disability and carers.
The groups who attend can make their own decisions, but they should listen to what the Partnership Board has to say about what they do. This is because the Board helps everyone to see the 'bigger picture' about what needs to be done.
